Racquet Ball

Do you want to try a different exercise activity? Are you in need of something to get you out of that armchair? Do you even know what Racquet Ball is?!

Racquet Ball is the fastest growing racquet sport in the UK and is played on a squash court, with similar rules. It uses a larger, bouncier ball and a shorter racket. It is easier to learn than squash and less physically demanding. Beginners have found it quick to learn and can get a good workout right from the start. It’s an ideal game for men and women and players of different ability play together.

.  We play at Knowle and Dorridge  Racquets Club in Grove Road on Mondays from 10:00 until 11:00 ish.  Walk past the club house through the tennis courts to the squash courts at the far end of the site.
Players need basic squash / tennis kit particularly non-marking shoes / trainers.
We can find rackets to get beginners started.
Most weeks we just play and there is a small charge for court hire (currently £2.  On the third Monday of the month we have organised coaching and the fee (including court hire is £7.50.

New players always welcome - beginners or regular / returning racquet sport players.
