INTRODUCTION
We aim to attain a standard of French which will enable us to cope with everyday living in France or other French speaking countries.
We are a group of 7 or 8 people and we try to meet every fortnight on the first and third Wednesday of each month but this has been very flexible because of so many other commitments. We meet in each other’s houses from 2-4 p.m..
We have an excellent leader in Margaret who is a very experienced French teacher and we also use the textbook The French Experience new edition from the BBC by Marie-Therese Bougard and Daniele Bourdais.
In our meetings, we practice speaking, listening and writing down answers in response to recorded materials. Most importantly, we enjoy the company and have fun. The day on which we meet varies. Please see Diary for dates of future meetings.
