INTRODUCTION
We are a small friendly group who enjoy theatre and concert visits and exploring new venues. We do our research for What’s On, pool ideas and plan visits. We support local theatre (e.g. The Revels, Knowle), and try and find good but affordable tickets to productions, often travelling by train to matinees. The date of the next meeting, as agreed, is circulated in minutes to members.

5th NOVEMBER 2022 - LA TRAVIATA
The Metropolitan Opera, New York, had just started its Winter season of HD live broadcasts to cinemas in the UK. A few members were privileged to see the first production - La Traviata, at the cinema in Touchwood, Solihull. The performance was considered outstanding by the group, with a top quality cast headed by a new soprano star, Nadine Sierra, remember the name! All of this for the modest cost of £20 each!
