INTRODUCTION
Anticipating the arrival of Ukrainian refugees, it would be good to learn just a few phrases out of a Ukrainian phrasebook to be able to say a few words to people finding themselves in our country.

{I am studying Ukrainian on the phone, but it would be better to study with friends. I'm progressing slowly. I want to talk to people who come to our city from the war in Ukraine}

PROGRESS  (JUNE 2022)
I've abandoned learning with Duolingo but have been introduced to 500 words.

I can greet, describe for and count to a billion.  learning some grammar on the way.

Duolingo has changed and it is much more difficult to use without a subscription.

I'm switching to the online course above
